May 13, 2014 marked a black day in the history of our country and working class. 301 miners were massacred in an occupational murder. We will not forgive, nor forget this massacre caused by subcontractor system, privatization, disregard of labour safety and extreme profit ambition.

As we have always emphasized, disorganized people chasing after myths created around certain figures is nothing but people left helpless.

On June 24, having been trailed behind a false hope, millions of people in Turkey were left high and dry once again. However, the notion that Turkey is now finished is ridiculous as much as the fairy tale telling that Turkey would be out of the woods simply by pursuing an unscrupulous alternative that approves all evils of the established order is unfounded. Everybody should know that Turkey will not yield to darkness.

The Workers Party of Ireland sends comradely greetings to the Communist Party of Turkey (TKP) and extends its best wishes, solidarity and support to the TKP. The WPI condemns the decision of the Turkish government to obstruct the participation of the TKP in the 24th June general election. The TKP is now taking part in the elections under the platform “This Social Order Must Change”.

Communist Party of Turkey (TKP) issued a statement titled ‘Unless these 19  points come true, Turkey will not be able to take a breath’.

On the eve of the 2018 parliamentary and presidential elections that is to take place on 24 June, Sunday, the TKP which had been carrying out This Order Must Change campaign issued a statement.

According to the statement, whoever wins the election campaign will be faced with the crisis of capitalism. TKP called for the following:

The CP of Turkey issued a report titled 'The Reflections of the International Relations Bureau of TKP on Turkey’s June 24 Elections'.

As Turkey enters presidential and parliamentary elections first time in its history, the International Bureau of the Communist Party of Turkey (TKP) issued a report analysing the snap elections in Turkey, its background and the anticipations regarding the elections. Since President Tayyip Erdogan increasingly became a symbol of aggression not only in Turkey but also in international politics, TKP elaborates the role of Erdogan in Turkish bourgeois politics and his position in the crisis of imperialism. It also discusses the role of the 'left' in the elections in relation to bourgeois alternatives to Erdogan.

A massive protest was organized by Nakliyat-İş and Birleşik Metal Metal İş at US Embassy in Istanbul on 16th May 2018. A lot of workers from the two unions gathered in Sarıyer and started their march to the Embassy of United States of America.

PAME expresses its support and solidarity with the Trade Unions and the workers who participated in the rallies and demonstrations in Turkey on Workers May Day 2018.

Once again, the Government of Turkey sent the police and assaulted the workers on the international day of the working class. In particular, we denounce the violent arrest of the Nakliyat-İş International Department, comrade İlhami Danacı and the President of the Toley-Is Aegean Department, comrade Fahri Kaya.

The World Federation of Trade Unions, gathering in its ranks more than 92 million workers in 126 countries all over the world, expresses its support and solidarity to the trade unionists of Nakliyat-İş Union and other workers that participated in rallies and demonstrations in Turkey on the 1st of May 2018.
