On Monday, in the framework of the commemoration of National Day of Dignity and the 27th anniversary of the military rebellion of the 4F, the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, meets with intellectuals and international guests, in the spaces of the Yellow House, headquarters of the Venezuelan Foreign Ministry in the company of Executive Vice President Delcy Rodríguez and the People’s Power Minister for Foreign Relations, Jorge Arreaza.

“27 years of the historic rebellion of Hugo Chavez (…) today more than ever is in permanent rebellion”, said the President.

“We know that we have pending accounts for the future for independence, development and economic prosperity of Venezuela, and that is why we should not lose a second, to advance addressing the problems of our people”, said the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro.

Despite the imperialist aggression that looms over Venezuela, spokespersons and leaders of the world have shown their solidarity to the Venezuelan people, as well as supported the institutionality, democracy and the Bolivarian Revolution, said the Foreign Minister of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Jorge Arreaza.

The Workers’ Party have condemned a decision by Ireland to back EU support for the Trump-backed pretender to the US presidency, Juan Guiadó. The statement comes in response to Department of Foreign Affairs confirmation that it intends to support an EU motion backing Guiadó. 

Cllr. Éilis Ryan, the Workers’ Party candidate for the European Parliament elections in Dublin, said: 
“What we are seeing now is the culmination of nearly a decade of Fine Gael governments moving Ireland further and further from even a semblance of ‘neutrality,’ the principle which drives foreign policy according to our constitution. 

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, exhorted this Sunday the men and women of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) to “assume with courage and responsibility the historical time” that Venezuela is facing.

 “Everyone should know how to assume its historical time and responsibility and be worth to what we have to live and the values ​​that we have to defend as our parents did, who gave us freedom and identity”, said Commander in Chief of the FANB, from the Naval Base of Turiamo, in the state of Aragua.

A candidate for the forthcoming European Parliament elections, Cllr. Éilis Ryan of the Workers’ Party, has condemned a vote by the European Parliament to back the attempted overthrow of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro. 

Cllr. Ryan, a city councillor contesting the Dublin election in May’s European elections, said: 

“Like every other US intervention – from Cuba to Iraq to Chile and Argentina in the 1980s – the attempt to overthrow Nicolás Maduro has nothing to do with human rights and everything to do with oil, and asserting US power around the globe.

During an interview offered to the Argentine radio program “Un poco más”, led by the former Ambassador of Argentina to the Vatican, Eduardo Valdés, the Foreign Minister of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Jorge Arreaza, highlighted the Bolivarian Government’s willingness to dialogue and get to agreement with the Venezuelan opposition.

Through his Twitter account @DrodriguezVen the Executive Vice President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, showed on Saturday afternoon a document from the Caribbean Community (Caricom) where they demand the OAS Secretary General, Luis Almagro, clarify the alleged support and recognition of Juan Guaidó.

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, said on Saturday to agree with the advancement of parliamentary elections, so he requested that the decision currently evaluated by the National Constituent Assembly (ANC), be consulted with the people.
