The FM of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Jorge Arreaza, held on Thursday with his counterpart from the Republic of Portugal, Augusto Santos Silva, a meeting to evaluate and strengthen the bilateral and diplomatic relations that exist between both nations.

The meeting was made within the framework of the XXVI Ibero-American Summit that takes place in the city of Antigua, Guatemala.

The FM of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Jorge Arreaza, held a bilateral meeting on Thursday with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Spain, Josep Borrell, allowing to evaluate bilateral relations.

The meeting was held in the city of Antigua, Guatemala, where the XXVI Ibero-American Summit is held, under the slogan “A prosperous, inclusive and sustainable Ibero-America”.

The FM of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Jorge Arreaza, reflected this Sunday on the necessary organization of the Venezuelan and Latin American and Caribbean social movements, which would favor the recovery of spaces of power incidentally assumed by the conservative forces of the region.

During his speech at the closure of the National Meeting of Social Movements, a preparatory meeting for the International Assembly of the Peoples to be held in February 2019 in the South American country, the diplomat urged the spokesmen of the organizations to work on the coincidences of those who aspire to build a more just and equitable world.

The FM of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Jorge Arreaza, on Sunday extolled the Venezuelan democratic system, which has been object of questions and accusations from the centers of world power.

“It is a real democracy and a process of true independence (…) Venezuela, with all our challenges, we are in our democracy, demonstrating it day by day, minute by minute”, the diplomat said in statements to the press, after his participation in the electoral simulation organized by the National Electoral Council (CNE) ahead of the municipal elections to be held on December 9 in the nation.

The city of Caracas was the scene this Saturday of the National Meeting of Social Movements, a preparatory meeting for the International Assembly of the Peoples to be held in February 2019 in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.

The working day of deliberation, which was attended by 200 delegates of social movements and organizations throughout the country, made possible the conference: The International Geopolitics and the challenges for the Bolivarian Revolution, with presentations by the Vice-minister of International Communication of the Venezuelan Foreign Ministry, William Castillo, and Gustavo Borges, director of the Venezuelan research portal Misión Verdad (Mission Truth).

The countries of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America – Peoples Commerce Treaty (ALBA-TCP) ratified their unrestricted support to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, before the illegal economic and financial blockade imposed by the government of the States United and its allies against the South American country.

“The Unilateral sanctions that the United States; the European Union and Canada have imposed on the Venezuelan people, have strengthened the Bolivarian Revolution and its people. Venezuela will keep worthily resisting and defeating the Empire and its allies”, highlights, the final declaration of the XVII Ordinary Meeting of the organism’s Political Council, held in Managua.

The Bolivarian National Armed Force, through its highest administrative body, the People’s Power Ministry for Defense, issued a communiqué in rejection for the attack perpetrated this Sunday in the border state of Amazonas -Southern region of the country- by a paramilitary group, in which 3 members of the Bolivarian National Guard were killed, and a dozen officials were wounded.

The General in Chief of the National Armed Force, Vladimir Padrino Lopez, spoke about the incident in his twitter account @vladimirpadrino, and called for justice for the fallen soldiers.

Three members of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) died and a dozen of them were wounded, including two officers, in an attack perpetrated this Sunday by a paramilitary group in the border state of Amazonas, in the south of the country, informed the People’s Power Minister for Defense, General in Chief Vladimir Padrino López.

The military authority denounced, through his Twitter account @ vladimirpadrino, that the infamous crime arose in retaliation after the capture of nine Colombian paramilitaries, who had war weapons and consequently were ordered by the Public Ministry.
