“I have been commissioned by President Nicolás Maduro to share with you some of the serious information that has been derived from the investigation of the terrorist acts that the Venezuelan far right has been organizing”, said the vice president of Communication, Culture and Tourism, Jorge Rodríguez.

From the Miraflores Palace, Rodríguez said: “We received intelligence that indicated that strange activities were being carried out in countries such as El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras, hiring assassins and elements related to drug trafficking”.

After fulfilling a broad work agenda in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, which began on March 11, the Technical Mission of the Office of the High Commissioner of the United Nations (UN) for Human Rights held a closure meeting this Friday with the People’s Power Minister for Foreign Relations, Jorge Arreaza.

The high level meeting allowed to analyze the inherent aspects of the visit to Venezuela of the team delegated by High Commissioner Michelle Bachelet, who could not only verify the real situation in different health centers, penitentiary centers, educational institutions -of different level-, but also to hold conversations with different authorities of the Venezuelan State and spokespersons for civil society.

The People’s Power Minister  for Foreign Relations of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Jorge Arreaza, categorically rejected the gangster tone with which White House spokesmen refer to Venezuela, pretending to intimidate with threats of military intervention in the Homeland of Bolívar.

In this regard, Foreign Minister Arreaza expressed through his Twitter account, @jaarreaza, that “the spokesmen of Washington in gangster tone repeat that ‘in the case of Venezuela all options are on the table’ They lie! Neither diplomacy, nor dialogue, nor respect for International Law and the Venezuelan Constitution are on that famous table”.

In order to resolve the political situation of the country through dialogue, on Thursday, the Foreign Minister of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Jorge Arreaza, received members of the International Contact Group of the European Union in order to reiterate his willingness to achieve agreements based on respect and non-interference in the internal affairs of the country.

During the execution of the II United Nations Conference (UN) on South-South Cooperation, which takes place from 20 to 22 March 2019 in the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Venezuela reiterated its claim to the ruthless economic blockade that imperial powers apply against it.

The Human Rights Council of the United Nations (UN) approved on Thursday the annual Resolution on unilateral coercive measures, which draft was presented by Ambassador Jorge Valero, permanent representative of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela before this multilateral forum based in Geneva, on behalf of the Movement of Non-Aligned Countries (Mnoal).

For the second consecutive day, social organizations and human rights experts meet at the United Nations Palace of Conventions in Geneva, Switzerland to denounce the illegal financial blockade that the imperial powers apply against Venezuela, and also to show the world the terrible impact that these unilateral and illegal coercive measures have on the Caribbean nation.

Representatives of the International Contact Group composed of member countries of the European Union and Uruguay met on Wednesday in Caracas with the Venezuelan Vice-ministers of Foreign Relations for Europe and Multilateral Affairs of the People’s Power Ministry for Foreign Relations, Yván Gil and Félix Plasencia, respectively.

During this important meeting, the second between delegates of the Contact Group and senior State officials, the technical cooperation routes within the framework of the United Nations system and in strict adherence to international law were explored.

This Monday through a statement, the Bolivarian Government denounced the illegal and forced occupation of some of its diplomatic headquarters in the United States, by people who have the public support of the US government, actions that represent a clear violation of the Convention of Vienna on Diplomatic Relations.
